For your Petkin to appear, just place its mat in one of your apartments. For that:

> Go to the apartment you want your Petkin to live in,
> Open Edit Mode,
> Go to the Petkins tab,
> Select the desired Petkin and drag it to the place you want it to be,
> Press Save.
